Welcome to the AdventureSport Guides home! My name is Jeff, and we are a small adventure sport guide service based in sunny San Diego, California. We offer everything from personalized beginning instruction in climbing to advanced privately guided experiences at many of southern California's world class climbing destinations. What we'd like to think distinguishes us from other services in the area is not only our passion for climbing, but also our personalized attention to providing a full adventure experience for the body, mind, and spirit. We seek to achieve this through instant friendship, respect, personality, confidence, knowledge, skill, style, and our own intimate personal experience with the spiritual potency of southern California's outdoor climbing destinations. Our goal is to guide you as a partner and friend, not just a client.

For the beginners among you, with seven years of bringing new friends to the top and back down again safely in some of southern California's most spectacular natural settings, we can introduce you to a lifelong adventure that transcends mere sport. For experienced climbers, we specialize in private excursions lead by a handful of guides intimate with the southern California classic climbing destinations. At the end of a climbing day, we also know the most comfortable campsites, the secret hot springs, and the best places to sample the local cuisine.

We offer personalized, apprentice-style, experiential climbing instruction at competitive rates. Trad, sport, aid. Multi-day adventures. All ability levels. Small groups, kids, adults. Let us design an entire outdoor experience for you. We can supply any equipment you desire, including camping and climbing gear, and we'll be happy to make arrangements for travelers.

Safety is of the utmost concern to us, and our service was founded by a group of experienced guides who began by introducing friends and beginners in the San Diego climbing community to safe climbing outdoors. Each of our guides has a minimum of seven and up to fifteen years of active climbing experience. Each is an exceptional climber in their own right, constantly pushing their own limits, staying current with trends in the sport, and always concerned with pursuing professional development in safety and skills and maintaining our perfect safety record.

We believe that climbing in California's spectacular outdoor settings is so much more than just a sport.
